The San Luis Valley (SLV) Rural Philanthropy Days is held in the San Luis Valley region (Alamosa, Conejos, Costilla, Mineral, Rio Grande and Saguache counties) once every four years. This year, the event will be held on September 14-16 in rural Saguache, Colorado. The three day event is structured to enable networking between local nonprofits, build the knowledge and skills of event participants through skill-building sessions, as well as give agencies some precious face time with potential program funders. Over 200 nonprofits, funders and representatives from local government agencies are expected to attend.
