The Community Resource Center presents a two-day,
comprehensive grant-seeking clinic specifi cally
tailored for grantseekers in the San Luis Valley. Rural
Philanthropy Days participants who follow-up with a
quality proposal are 25% more likely to receive
funding! Turn your “Green Lights” into gold with
Grant Seeking: Proposal Drafting Clinic.
This hands-on clinic allows participants to spend time
on computers writing the most critical components
of the Common Grant Application, including perfecting
program descriptions, crafting measurable goals
and objectives, developing program budgets, and
drafting a complete proposal that can be used to follow up with the funding leads developed at Rural Philanthropy Days.
This clinic is designed to prepare both the novice and
the more advanced practitioner to submit winning proposals. In this clinic, you will complete a draft proposal.
You will need to bring:
• brief history of your organization
• mission statement
• program description(s)
• program goals and objectives
• organization and program budgets (or expected
expenses and income)
• desired program outcomes/impacts
• other groups in your area working on same issues
i.e., a list of potential collaborators
